Account Based Marketing Manager

Purpose: The Account Based Marketing Manager will create and manage marketing plans in close collaboration with the business development and account management teams. They will leverage the right mix of digital and traditional channels to deliver personalized marketing campaigns that generate awareness, demand, and pipeline acceleration within named accounts. The Account Based Manager will align account-based marketing programs with detailed account plans.

This position would be ideal for a well-rounded marketer who wants to work in a dynamic, international B2B environment. To be successful, you’ll need a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving, project management and implementation skills.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of marketing programs targeted to named accounts;
  • Engage and work closely with the business development, account management and marketing teams to deliver account-based marketing programs across relevant channels;
  • Close collaboration with the business development team to develop plans that generate awareness, create leads and drive average contract value, new business and upselling within named accounts;
  • Formulate strategy, define target audiences, meaningful channels, and messaging aligned to strategic account plans;
  • Implement and project manage ABM calendar and deliverables;
  • Deliver realistic timelines and keep internal stakeholders and agency resources on track;
  • Continually assess and report on the results of ABM marketing programs and implement improvements where necessary;
  • Reporting of ABM key performance indicators;
  • Brief and manage agency or freelance resources to work on campaigns.

Prior Experience and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level, in a marketing or business field;
  • 10+ years’ working in a B2B marketing environment, preferably with ABM experience;
  • Past experience of email systems, marketing automation systems, content management systems, CRM platforms and search engine optimisation.
