Our client is highly regarded by its international partners for the supply and mobilisation of technical products and expertise across several sectors. They are seeking a Business Development Executive.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Plan
  • Core Market Review
  • Product Range Review
  • Existing Client review
  • Client Opportunities Review – Core markets
  • Competitor review
  • Operations & Customer Service review
  • Investment review
  • Plan for Progress Development and Presentation

Existing Customers:

  • Meet and Build relationships with some Key accounts transferred to your control.
  • Actively look for Added Value services that the Division can supply to the customer base.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure our Full Product range is being explored at all existing customers.

New Business Development:

  • To be aligned to the Plan for Progress Plan developed yearly.
  • Find & develop, within the territory, NEW BUSINESS across the company’s Full Paint & Equipment Product portfolio.
  • Work with our key suppliers to ensure their latest technologies are being highlighted and correctly demonstrated to potential clients.
  • Hold training days for customers in our Dublin facility.

Business Administration

  • Timely completion of Microsoft NAV CRM and other Pipeline reporting
  • Timely and accurate reporting to the Division Manager
  • Effective communication with all staff
  • Assist in the development, implementation and management of the Market and Division strategy
  • Prepare annual Sales Budgets and regular forward forecasting.
  • Participate in Quarterly and Technology Sales Meetings with the Division Manager
  • Any other reasonable task asked for by the Division Manager
  • Actively participate in Group Initiatives when requested.

Person Specification

  • Seek out and develop new business opportunities in the Dublin / Leinster area.
  • Be a team-oriented person, with culture and core values that meet those of the company.
  • Be driven by solution and problem solving, be able to promote our Core Competencies and the products features & benefits, adding value to the end client and the company.
  • Have a proven track record of Business Development.
  • Be able to develop a strategic growth plan and can motivate and communicate this with their key partners to help exceed the business targets of the Division.
  • Previous Sales & Technical experience would be an advantage.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients within the Leinster area primarily.
  • Have excellent communication both written and verbal, organisational & numerical skills.
  • Have a full drivers’ licence.
  • Can travel on an ad hoc basis throughout Europe (UK in the main).
  • Actively engage in any training provided.
