Compliance Executive

Our Client is a financial services provider, they offer finance and services to individuals and businesses covering 36 countries. They are currently seeking to recruit a Compliance Executive who will be based in their South Dublin office.

Reporting Directly to the Managing Director, the Internal Controller role is focused on the implementation of activities and controls to help an efficient and effective Risks governance based on the operational risk mapping and major risks classification (i.e. Anti-money laundering and Counter-Financing Terrorism, GDPR, etc.) for the Bank and Services Branch Ireland.

Responsibilities:

Permanent controls:

  • Perform 2nd level controls including Operational risks and Compliance
  • Monitor Procedures management system
  • First level controls follow-up
  • Supervision of action plans implementation across all departments

Animation of following topics:

  • Operational risks monitoring and assessment.
  • Incident gathering and reporting – Key risk indicators monitoring and reporting
  • Regulatory/Legal Watch – Ethics
  • Internal frauds prevention
  • Anti-corruption, Anti-money laundering and Counter-Financing Terrorism processes monitoring
  • Essential Outsourced Services monitoring
  • Business Continuity Plan management
  • Close collaboration with an outsourced Internal Control company to ensure proper level of Risk governance
  • Quarterly Internal Control Committees preparation and delivery
  • Liaison with HQ Internal control functions in France

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certification in Internal Audit
  • First experience in internal control or audit within a bank or a financial institution would be an asset

  • Must be able to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.  MS Office Applications proficient
